Consumers Excited—yet Anxious—as Restaurants Reopen

As restaurants slowly reopen, consumer demand for in-eatery meals is growing, according to Restaurant Hospitality. In a Datassential survey from April, 45% of consumers claimed that “dining at my favorite sit-down restaurant” was the post-lockdown activity to be most excited about. However, most restaurants will proceed with caution by offering limited menus and reduced hours.
