Marriott Expands Resort Hotels in Response to Travel Demand

Marriott International plans on expanding all-inclusive hotels as part of an effort to financially recover from reduced due to the COVID-19 crisis, according to Bloomberg News Wire.

A deal with Sunwing Travel Group will allow Marriott to add nearly 7,000 rooms in the Caribbean and Central America. While Sunwing will continue to own the properties, the hotels will convert into Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
