Dayton Convention Center Upgrades Could Boost Hotel Market
Hotel demand in Dayton, OH is making a comeback, according to Dayton Daily News. Like the rest of the U.S., the Dayton metro area’s hospitality market suffered during the pandemic.
Occupancy rates dropped to 41.8% in 2020 and rose only to 55.8% in 2021. Local leaders predict that interest in downtown lodging will increase, once renovations to the Dayton Convention Center are complete.
