Hotels, Restaurants Mark Robust Summer Season
In May, the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced that the U.S. added 42,000 jobs in that category, up .2% from the previous month, according to Marketplace. The uptick in hiring reflects increases in summer travel and the warmer weather encouraging people to visit more restaurants and bars—despite inflated costs.
