Midwest Laundry—Built To Last

Last month we reported on DeKalb Medical’s on-premise laundry (OPL) outside Atlanta and how it’s investing in water recycling, a scrub-dispensing system, and other innovations to help control costs and improve efficiencies in ways that can help ensure the organization’s long-term viability. 
 
This month, we look at another hospital-owned facility, Midwest Laundry in Cincinnati. This central laundry is owned by UC Health—an affiliate of the University of Cincinnati.
