Earlier this year, Textile Services visited several laundries in the Netherlands and Germany. Below are highlights of two Dutch facilities: One, Textile Care in Utrecht, is a 165-year-old family-owned and operated hospitality specialist. The company has invested heavily in technology and is moving massive volumes of rental hotel goods. The second plant, Ergon Laundry in Eindhoven, is a high-tech “fossil-free” facility that opened last year as a nonprofit institution that receives public support and provides jobs to people with developmental challenges.
