How did all this laundry stuff happen?

After graduating from the Basic School and Warrant Officer Candidate School (boot camp two times for Warrants!) I received my first officer duty assignment at Camp Lejeune, NC, as commanding officer, Ordinance Maintenance/General Supply Maintenance Company, a strange assignment for a Marine Corps Warrant Officer-230 Marines in my command. I recently had completed tours of duty in Vietnam, had been assigned to Marine Barracks, Guantanamo, Cuba, and had completed tours of duty as a Marine Corps drill instructor and Marine Corps officer selection duty.
