At TRSA’s recent Annual Conference & Exhibits, TRSA unveiled plans for a new Web-based benchmarking initiative that will enable participating textile services operations to compare energy and water consumption against other companies. The program was developed by the Plant Operations Committee and introduced in an hour-long seminar titled “Energy Benchmarking & Forecasting” by committee members Manuel Nieto and Mike Scalise of ARAMARK Uniform Services, Burbank, CA. The new program and website is expected to go live shortly. We offer a summary and update below.
