Overcoming The Middle-Skills Gap
During the past two months, more than 75 different linen, uniform and facility services companies sent nearly 250 individuals to participate in TRSA professional-development programs focused on skills development and leadership. These diverse participants included employees from international and national chains, regional and independent operators serving businesses, retailers, healthcare facilities, restaurants, government and other organizations. Discussions centered on overcoming labor shortages by developing programs for professionals with the technical, communications and management skills necessary to identify, train and retain employees.
