Peracetic acid (PAA) is an “activated” oxygen bleach that is used in a broad range of applications as a bleaching agent, sanitizer or disinfectant in a wide variety of industries, from food and beverage processing, oil and gas recovery, environmental remediation, pulp and paper operations, healthcare, industrial cleaning, and laundry.
