TRSA members continue to outpace the textile services industry in workplace safety improvement. Respondents to the annual member survey in 2015 reported a 27% lower total reported incident rate (TRIR) in 2014 as compared with 2010. TRIR has stayed the same for the industry as a whole during that period; nearly 50% higher than TRSA members’ current level and roughly 75% higher than the rate for all industries. TRSA respondents are also improving at a better pace than manufacturers (only 9.1%) and private industry as a whole (5.7%).
