Plant Fires—Must They Happen?

There are two primary sources of fire in a laundry. One occurs when the plant is in operation and the other most often occurs when the plant is shut down. The latter is usually the most hazardous to the plant as normally there are no people around to immediately fight the fire. This obviously makes a great case for a sprinkler system regardless of the costs.
