I’m a textile service operator at heart. I actually enjoying getting my hands dirty by the grease of the equipment or the lint and sludge that is part of the lifeblood of a laundry. I love solving production problems and making facilities more productive, efficient and profitable. I love the business. Period. But there’s one thing about being an operator that I never fully embraced. Some say it’s dirtier than anything anyone could ever see come in a commercial laundry. Some call it a necessary evil. Others just call it politics.
