In June’s Textile Services (pg. 44), I discussed the value of auditing systems to gain an understanding of the capabilities of any given system or machine. I described how knowing the limits of any system is essential to making good decisions about plant and machinery capacity. You need to look at utilities, types of linen, specific moisture as it relates to the type of fabric and other variables that can impact plant production—and therefore profitability.
