Reporting and Record Keeping—A New Era for the EEO-1 Report
Has your company begun the process of filing the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC) annual EEO-1 or Employee Information Report? If not, time is quickly running out. Businesses with more than 100 employees or those that execute federal contracts valued at more than $50,000 with 50 or more employees are required to file by Sept. 30 the annual report that details the gender, racial and ethnic composition of their workforce. The EEO-1 report provides the federal government with such demographic information on more than 50 million American workers.
