Since RFID technology began to enter into the industry’s consciousness about a decade ago, the belief has been that these tracking chips could benefit the uniform supply sector of the business but not linen supply. Skeptics argued that the cost of implementation compared with the payback in better inventory control would not be worth it for linen suppliers.
