San Diego OKs $25 Tourism Wage

The San Diego City Council has approved the Hospitality Minimum Wage Ordinance, setting a $25 hourly wage for tourism workers at hotels with 150 rooms or more, according to Hotel Dive. Smaller hotels are exempt, following advocacy from the Asian American Hotel Owners Association, which also secured a phased rollout starting at $19 in 2026. Visit bit.ly/sandiegowage.
