Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) called on a group of 70-plus TRSA members at a breakfast prior to heading to Capitol Hill for a series of meetings with lawmakers to confront the “demonization and demagoguery” that critics in politics and academia have leveled at the business community in recent years.
 
The stakes are high and “time is running out,” Sen. Johnson said with a touch a gallows humor for the group gathered in an upper-floor meeting room in the Hart Senate office building on Capitol Hill.
