Soap Dispensers—Sealed is Safer, Suppliers Say

Recent studies conducted at the University of Arizona found that open refillable bulk soap systems are a “breeding ground for germs that can result in a public health risk.” (See related article on pg. 28.)
 
While the findings may not be surprising, some textile service supplier company operators believe the studies are a good start, but may appear to be self-serving, mainly because they were partly funded by GOJO Industries, a global corporation based in Akron, OH, that markets PURELL® and other hand hygiene and healthy skin products.
