Steiner Q&A—Thriving on Market Diversity

This year, Textile Services features two companies that are celebrating their 125th anniversary. Both firms, Alsco Inc. and AmeriPride Services Inc., began with brothers George A. and Frank M. Steiner, who in 1889 launched a small linen-supply business in Lincoln, NE. 
 
Today, both companies operate as large, separate entities, owned by descendants of the original Steiner brothers. By all accounts, relations are cordial.
