In August 2005, a category five hurricane formed in the Atlantic Ocean with its eye fixed on the southeastern United States. The results of the storm were devastating, and the aftermath was broadcast into millions of homes throughout the nation and across the globe. Now that more than 10 years have passed, we take a look at Hurricane Katrina, its effects on area laundry operations and how their emergency plans have evolved in the time that has passed.
