For those who had only heard about Alsco’s Doraville, GA, facility, the first sight of the plant left a mark in their mind’s eye. At more than 260,000 sq. ft., attendees of the 2007 Tech/Plant Summit in Atlanta could only imagine why a laundry facility needed to be so large. Once inside, visitors saw the modern equipment and innovation helping to move tens of thousands of pounds of textiles throughout the facility. They quickly would realize this plant is anything but an empty shell.
