Textile Care Services/HLSG Reaping Rewards from $10M Upgrade
Do newer equipment and systems translate to improved performance? The verdict is in, according to Textile Care Services’ (TCS) General Manager Paul Jewison, whose plant has now operated for a year, following a $10 million investment in this Rochester, MN, laundry owned by the Healthcare Linen Services Group (HLSG).
“It’s a little surprising,” says Jewison, who oversaw construction of the 96,000 square foot (8,918 square meter) plant when it opened in 1993. “For me—being in the business forever—I was skeptical. And we were getting good performance out of our old stuff. But this has been better.”
