Next month marks the second anniversary of the agreement by which our industry’s two national associations decided to combine and speak with one voice. 
 
At the time, many were skeptical as to whether we could successfully combine the two organizations.  After all, many highly motivated and capable industry leaders had previously attempted to make this work. The move to join forces in 2008 succeeded due to the hard work of all our members, and I’m happy to report that the progress that began on Day 1 of this effort continues to this day.
