The Case For FR Emblems

In recent years, flame resistant (FR) clothing has become increasingly available to protect workers in high-risk industries such as electrical, petrochemical and fire/emergency services. Dozens of manufacturers produce either FR fabrics or FR apparel to meet the demand, including brands such as Bulwark, Dickies, Workrite, Milliken, Reed and Westex. Commercial textile services and uniform rental companies supply, launder and repair these garments. They may even offer emblematic identification to embellish FR clothing, which begs the question: “What about the need for FR emblems?”
