With TRSA’s longstanding focus on technology, marketing, production and related matters, some may forget that it was not those issues—but rather advocacy before state officials that led to the founding of the Ohio Linen Supply Association—TRSA’s predecessor group—in November 1912.
 
At that time, a group of Ohio linen supply operators decided to band together against unwieldy regulations that state officials had proposed for the reusable towel industry. 
Within a year, state officials agreed to modify those rules, and the Ohio operators group toasted their success at an inaugural banquet in Cincinnati on Feb. 19, 1913. A ...
