Say what you will about life in our nation’s capital, but two “truths” are beyond dispute. First, Members of Congress, particularly U.S. House members in competitive districts (an increasing number this year), want and need your support every two years. Second, no member of either the House or Senate is likely to act with dispatch on a measure that’s near and dear to your company, unless they’re aware of its implications.
