TRSA Rebuts CT Shop Towel Report

An article on air emissions from print towel laundering that recently appeared in Connecticut newspapers drew a quick response from TRSA, advising their editors that the report had misrepresented the industry and understated the degree to which commercial laundries are regulated.
 
Written by the Connecticut Health Investigative Team (C-HIT), a nonprofit group supported by media, healthcare and journalism interests and the Center for Public Integrity, the article gave a false impression that shop/print towels are the only laundered product that the industry provides.
