After TRSA’s Annual Meeting on June 17 at the Sheraton New Orleans, members and guests were eager to celebrate a year of accomplishments at the pre-Clean reception in the nearby Grand Ballroom, named for that city’s favorite son, trumpeter Louis Armstrong. 
 
The reception was a resounding success. It's estimated that more than 500 people attended this kickoff event for Clean '09. Walking among the crowds in the sumptuous ballroom, an observer would have figured that at least that many were enjoying an early evening of networking with friends and colleagues.
