TRSA recently issued a response to a May 14 article that appeared in the New York Daily News on conditions in local commercial laundries and a bill aimed at regulating those businesses. The legislation would affect laundries in New York City, or those that provide textile services to New York hospitals, restaurants or other businesses, but are based outside the city’s five boroughs.
