The European Textile Services Association (ETSA) hosts two National Associations meetings annually to discuss issues impacting their respective markets, as well as initiatives their organizations are undertaking to benchmark and strengthen the textile services industry. In recent years, they’ve invited TRSA to participate. I’ve found that regardless of language and culture, the textile services industry faces many of the same challenges worldwide, such as wage/pricing pressures, skilled labor shortages, manager recruitment/retention issues, and recruiting new leaders.
