A recent survey of laundry operators who are certified to TRSA’s Hygienically Clean Healthcare standard and accredited to the HLAC standard, revealed that only 20% of acute- and nonacute-healthcare providers’ requests for proposals (RFPs) specify certification/accreditation with a particular program. TRSA will cite the survey as a baseline as we roll out an outreach program over the next 18 months that will advocate the value of Hygienically Clean certification and reusable textiles to decision-makers and influencers.
