When Americans celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 1976, organizations of all stripes got into the act of commemorating our nation’s birth.
Not to be outdone were textile services companies such as Penn Linen and Uniform Service, Allentown, PA, and Shasta Linen Supply, Sacramento, CA, both of which commissioned artists to decorate route delivery trucks in honor of America’s bicentennial.
