Value Matters—Price Hike Psych 101

In the few short weeks since I first discussed this article with the editor, gasoline has gone down from more than $3 per gallon to $2.16. Before it peaked around $3.50 (higher in some areas) in many locations it was well under $2. And does anyone have confidence that these prices have any stability? Unbelievable!
 
How can anyone run a business with such volatile costs? What about natural gas prices and heating oil this winter, especially if it’s really cold? 
 
And I wonder, what lame excuses will the electric utility industry find to get ...
