Rick Rome had plenty of experience as a Wall Street trader but none in the laundry industry when he started WashClub, an on-demand laundry and dry-cleaning service that’s available to both individual and commercial customers.
 
Rome opened the first WashClub NYC in Brooklyn in 2010; today there are WashClubs in four New York boroughs and in 14 states, with an estimated 25,000 customers.
