Nearly 50 New York area launderers participated in a recent webinar sponsored by TRSA to review highlights of New York City’s new Laundry Licensing Law, which is slated to take effect on Feb. 12, 2017.
 
The legislation drew a flurry of questions from attendees. Concerns ranged from whether the law applied to hospital laundries and whether laundries outside the five boroughs of New York City would have to abide by the city’s wage and other laws in laundry facilities that service New York, but are located in New Jersey or other jurisdictions.
