Everyone needs to have a retention plan and own it. Know your data and manage your data so you know what’s actually effective and what’s not effective. Tracking average length of stay was a good idea. Use both traditional and nontraditional forms of recruiting (ads, recruitment cards, retention bonuses, community postings, etc.). Having training checklists for all positions is another item I think will make a huge difference in making sure employees get the training they need in a timely manner.
