Longtime textile service owner/operator Lou Zipperman loved being in the laundry business. He loved telling a good joke almost as much. His son Don recalled that Zipperman, who passed away at 91 earlier this year, would even take shots at his own occasionally tenuous financial condition in his quest for a laugh.
