Alliant Systems recently hosted AlliantCon23, a two-day gathering in Frisco, TX, of more than 200 textile rental professionals hailing from over 90 companies across the U.S. and Canada. This annual conference serves as a platform for operators to engage in discussions on emerging technologies, share innovative strategies, and receive crucial insights on business growth and management.
Highlights from AlliantCon23 included:
- Keynote speaker Adam Toporek shared insights on creating outstanding customer experiences.
- Alliant VP Jhovanny Rodriguez provided an overview of the Alliant product suite and emphasized enhanced communication efforts.
- Alliant’s sister company, Synetek Solutions, is now Alliant IT, a division of Alliant, offering unparalleled IT support.
- Centralized Console, a browser-based app, now allows users to perform A/R functions across their entire organization.
- Global Payments integration offers enhanced convenience and new functionalities for ACH payments, and now will be available for Canadian customers.
TRSA President & CEO Joseph Ricci attended the event. Ricci introduced Toporek to AlliantCon23 attendees, and briefly discussed TRSA and its role in the industry.
Alliant Systems, which is based in Irving, TX, introduced three additions to the company’s offerings: The Alliant Community, Alliant University and Alliant Cloud.
Now available to all Alliant customers, the Alliant Community is an online space designed to provide users with essential product information, featuring:
- A dynamic, searchable Alliant knowledge base
- Interactive discussion spaces for sharing, questioning and collaborating with fellow operators
- A platform for submitting and voting on new ideas
The community serves as a centralized hub, elevating informal information sharing to a new level, enabling users to connect, learn and inspire one another. It also serves as an invaluable source of customer feedback, instrumental in shaping future product enhancements.
“For many years, I’ve been inspired by the vast knowledge shared within and among members of our industry,” said Lisa Wacker, director of community. “This new platform harnesses that collective knowledge to empower our customers, enhance their overall experience and fortify the entire Alliant Community.”
Addressing the longstanding need for comprehensive training resources, Alliant University, integrated within the Alliant Community, is available as of today. With more than 100 courses available immediately, it caters to new employee onboarding, offers refresher training and supports those aspiring to advance in the linen, uniform and facility services industry.
Alliant Systems also announced the option to host their software suite on a private cloud service. Alliant Cloud offers users the flexibility of maintaining an on-premise server or choosing hosting. It is a private, scalable solution that enables access from anywhere, with the ability to run Alliant within a browser. Seamlessly integrated with plant operations, it optimizes processes such as scales, soil-count systems and garment-tracking systems.
“This might be the biggest announcement of AlliantCon23 this year … it’s now a reality,” said Eric Smith, director of sales and marketing for Alliant Systems.
The conference concluded with a group dinner at Fogo de Chao in Plano, TX. AlliantCon24 is scheduled for Oct. 23-25, 2024, in Frisco, TX.
