Cintas Corp., Mason, OH, recently was named by Forbes magazine to the publication’s yearly list of “America’s Best Large Employers of 2024,” according to a news release.

This is Cintas’ second consecutive year to receive this recognition that’s accorded to employers with 5,000 or more U.S.-based employees. The honor is based on survey feedback from employees, as well as industry peers and consumers, the release said. Other companies receiving this recognition include Microsoft, Delta Airlines and the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

“This recognition by Forbes is a reflection of Cintas’ concerted effort to continue prioritizing the needs of our workforce to create a collaborative and caring work environment,” said Todd Schneider, president and CEO of Cintas. “We are honored to receive this recognition, especially when it comes from the feedback of our employee-partners and peers.” The final score is based on two evaluations:

Personal – Given by the employees themselves. These are also known as “direct evaluations.”

Public – Given by friends and family members of employees or members of the public who work in the same industry. These are also known as indirect evaluations, with a much higher weighing of personal evaluations.

Cintas also was recently named among Fortune’s Most Admired Companies of 2024. Last year, Cintas was recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity Greatest Workplaces for Women. Click here for details.
