With Earth Day rapidly approaching on April 22, TRSA is rolling out new marketing initiatives to highlight the sustainable advantages of the linen, uniform and facility services industry. A digital marketing campaign and enhanced Earth Day toolkit have been designed to increase awareness of the industry’s eco-friendly practices.
Building on Strong 2025 Results
TRSA’s 2026 efforts build on the success of last year’s campaign. In 2025, the Earth Day digital initiative generated more than 117,000 impressions and delivered nearly 2,500 clicks to LaundryServices.org, TRSA’s consumer-facing website that explains the benefits of reusables over disposable textiles. These results demonstrated strong public interest and validated the effectiveness of TRSA’s outreach strategy.
During the first three weeks of April, TRSA will feature a 15-second sustainability video that highlights the industry’s reduced water consumption, emphasizing that commercial laundering saves 30 billion gallons of water annually compared to home laundering.
“Last year we saw strong engagement through Google Display, especially compared to other platforms, so this year we’re leaning even more into what’s clearly working,” said Cody Brazil, digital marketing manager at TRSA. “Our priority is to expand that momentum and make sure the industry’s sustainability message reaches the audiences most likely to engage with it.”
Support for Members: The 2026 Earth Day Toolkit
To help laundry operators promote Earth Day with ease, TRSA has refreshed its Earth Day Marketing Toolkit for 2026. The toolkit includes updated infographics, short videos and ready-to-use social media posts that highlight how commercial laundries reduce carbon footprints, conserve resources and operate efficiently. Each Monday in April leading up to Earth Day, TRSA will release one infographic about the sustainability benefits of using commercial laundry services. The infographic will be added to the Earth Day Toolkit, giving members additional content they can promote on their social media on Earth Day and throughout the year.
TRSA also will feature member stories throughout the month of April by sharing sustainability initiatives across its social media channels. Members are encouraged to participate using #TRSAEarthDay.
The 2026 Earth Day Toolkit for members is available now.
