Elis announced that it acquired Oxwash, a linen, uniform and facility services provider based in Swindon, England.
“We are pleased to announce Elis’ acquisition of Oxwash,” said Mark Franklin, CEO of Elis UK. “This development will strengthen our network in the UK and support our ongoing commitment to delivering sustainable, high-quality textile services to customers across the country.”
Oxwash’s facility in Swindon, which it calls “Big Blue I,” is powered by renewable energy and designed around energy efficiency, water reuse and next-generation cleaning chemistry. Its technology and ethos will now be integrated across Elis’s network, according to a news release.
Dr. Kyle C. Grant-Talbot , CEO and founder of Oxwash, added that, “Joining Elis, a company recognized by Ecovadis and committed to its science-based targets, provides Oxwash an excellent fit for our carbon-neutral model, accelerating the transformation of textile care into a truly sustainable industry.”
