Energenics Corp., Naples, FL, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, according to a news release.
Founded in 1974 by Jack Haried, Energenics originally specialized in manufacturing heat recirculation equipment for the commercial laundry industry in Aurora, IL.
As demand for heat recirculation decreased, Energenics shifted its focus to dryer-lint filtration technology, which proved successful. Haried relocated the business to Naples, where it continues to thrive today.
In 1992, John Hutterly acquired Energenics from Haried. Under Hutterly’s leadership, the company introduced a range of innovative products, including quaternary chemical Kartwash systems. Hutterly continues today in the role of CEO. Tim Sulecki became the president of the company five years ago and has been instrumental in building on the company’s success.
“With a forward-thinking management team and an innovative product line, Energenics is excited to meet the evolving needs of laundry facility owners and operators for decades to come,” Sulecki says. “We look forward to the continued success of our current team in the years ahead.”
