The report outlined how the ongoing government shutdown, which began on Oct. 1, could push the U.S. economy into a recession and affect the ability to get accurate data on energy markets that is typically supplied by the government. Environ also looked at several factors that could affect energy pricing in the fourth quarter and heading into the new year.
