Mike Roy recently joined the staff at George Courey Inc., Laval, Quebec, as the company’s director of supply chain. Roy brings more than two decades of expertise in consumer goods supply chain management to the role, according to a news release.
Throughout his career, Roy has collaborated with professionals from diverse backgrounds and departments, honing a versatile skill set that includes driving digital transformation, implementing change management and streamlining process improvements.
As the head of the supply chain department, Roy aims to optimize the flow of goods, overseeing the journey from suppliers to distribution centers and, ultimately, to customers. Understanding the integral role that procurement, logistics and distribution center operations play in connecting all departments, he emphasizes the importance of seamless communication and data flow to empower every team member at George Courey Inc., the release noted.
