Receive a free evaluation of your TRSA member company’s fleet-management proficiency and see how it stacks up against vehicle programs run by other commercial and government organizations. That’s your guaranteed reward for entering the 100 Best Fleets competition of TRSA collaborator NAFA, the Fleet Management Association. On the same digital application form, you can nominate for NAFA’s highest annual honors for a fleet professional and fleet technician.
The application is due Friday, Jan. 26.
In applying for the 100 Best, you write up to 400 characters to describe your fleet’s practices in any or all of the following:
- Accountability: metrics, benchmarks you use to document performance and progress toward objectives
- Asset, financial, fuel, maintenance, risk management
- Business Management: relationships and interactions for regulatory compliance, business planning
- Environmental, social and corporate governance
- Professional development
- Use of technology and information
Then you answer why you should be considered one of the best commercial fleets: just one more question, up to 4,000 characters. You’ll get a login and password for your entry so you can work on it in multiple sessions (save changes and return to the webform).
On the same form, you also can nominate for NAFA’s Fleet Professional of the Year and Fleet Technician of the Year awards.
The fleet pro contest is open to all 100 Best applicants. One individual will be selected as the most outstanding professional in the 100 Best program. Eligible professionals include fleet managers and directors, maintenance managers and supervisors, material management and supply staff, fleet analysts, fiscal and accounting staff and safety officers.
The technician award for this category of employee provides the equivalent singular accolade. In both contests, only one entry into this competition is allowed per organization.
