HCSC Linen Services recently reopened its Asbury Park, NJ, facility after partnering with JENSEN to install and upgrade equipment in its washroom and production floor.
In response to challenges and opportunities in the healthcare market, HCSC recently invested substantial capital into retooling its Asbury Park processing facility – specifically focusing on the washroom area with two new JENSEN tunnel washers, nine new XR dryers and an accompanying new shuttle system. Additionally, HCSC updated its large-piece folders and installed an updated small-piece ironer line.
“We want our regional customers to know that we have increased our capacity and enhanced our efficiency while remaining committed to consistently providing the high level of quality and service that we are continuously recognized for,” HCSC said in a statement.
Located at 1005 Memorial Drive in Asbury Park, NJ, the 35,840-square-foot laundry plant was constructed in 1980. HCSC purchased the plant from Keystone Laundry in 2005 and began processing laundry out of the facility in August of that year. Since that time, HCSC has invested significant resources and spent several million dollars redesigning the facility, creating a more efficient workflow and working environment.
