Due Friday, May 23, are responses to the TRSA and the European Textile Services Association (ETSA) survey to learn more about conditions in industrial-scale laundries that result in fires. Members of ETSA-affiliated organizations (TRSA among them) are asked to join this effort by linking below to the separate forms to log your organization’s experiences with fires as well as any such ignition that might have occurred but was prevented.
Your participation with those of your TRSA and ETSA national association colleagues will identify:
- Time of day near-misses and fires occurred
- Textile product types involved
- Customer industries that used these textiles
- Area of the laundry where the problem originated
- Damage extent
- Existing practices or those implemented in the wake of an incident
