At this year’s TRSA Annual Conference, scheduled for May 12–14 in Napa, CA, attendees will have a unique opportunity to engage with leading-edge cancer research while honoring a respected industry leader.
Dr. Alexander Wyatt, the Scientific Director of the Clinical Genomics Program at BC Cancer, UBC President’s Excellence Chair in Precision Oncology and Associate Professor at the University of British Columbia, will present on advances in global cancer research and innovation. Working in collaboration with global partners, his research is helping accelerate the translation of scientific discovery into real-world patient care. These efforts are contributing to breakthroughs that increasingly inform cancer treatment protocols and standards of care in the United States and internationally.
In recognition of the longstanding leadership and service of TRSA Board Chairman Randy Bartsch, TRSA will make a charitable donation to the BC Cancer Foundation in his honor. The foundation is the philanthropic partner supporting BC Cancer’s novel research and innovative care paradigms. BC Cancer itself is a globally recognized institution responsible for cancer care, research and prevention, partnering with leading centers worldwide and driving discoveries that are shaping the future of cancer treatment. Dr. Wyatt’s research extends globally, collaborating with Harvard Medical School, Yale School of Medicine and Mayo Clinic in the United States, as well as across Australia and Europe.
TRSA also invites conference attendees and members to join in honoring Bartsch through a personal or corporate donation to the BC Cancer Foundation. Contributions support vital research programs and innovative clinical trials that are advancing meaningful progress against cancer. All contributions will be matched by the Bartsch family, supporting global cancer research and leading to better outcomes for patients and their families.
Together, the TRSA community can celebrate exceptional leadership, support transformative research, and make a lasting impact beyond our industry.
Donations can be made directly through BC Cancer’s donation portal. Members are encouraged to note that their gift is made in honor of TRSA Chair, Randy Bartsch.
