On Nov. 17, Tina Kannegiesser, CEO of Kannegiesser, Vlotho, Germany; and Michael Harre, the chief sales & service officer (CSO) of Kannegiesser, met Tim Walz, governor of Minnesota (D) and former vice presidential candidate, at a reception in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The focus was on building valuable connections with representatives from the Minnesota Trade Office (MTO) and the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (MDEED). The meeting was an important step for the continued growth of the company’s Kannegiesser North America location in Minneapolis.
Gov. Walz’s visit to Germany and Switzerland was part of his announced trade mission, with stops in Düsseldorf, Zurich and Berlin.
“We look forward to strengthening transatlantic relations and working together to shape the future of our Kannegiesser North America site in Minneapolis,” Kannegiesser said in a news release highlighting the meeting.
